Are you struggling to find the time to learn everything within "Internet Marketing"?
I can relate, I really can.
When I first got started I was trying to juggle creating squeeze pages, driving traffic, picking products, setting up Aweber, advertising, graphics... ARGH!
My mind was in meltdown, it was TOO MUCH information for one person to handle. It felt like I was trying to learn an entire years worth of information within the shortest time possible. And eventually I came to the conclusion that no matter what you're told, it just isn't possible.
It can also lead to all sorts of health problems including sleep deprivation, weight problems and becoming a very irritable human being.
After some heavy soul-searching I concluded that the information wasn't the problem. It was my total lack of a plan, organization and strategy.
When you were at school the teachers didn't expect you to learn a whole subject within a week or two did they?
The same applies here, and it's that obvious when you think about it.
If you're like me you're DESPERATE to start seeing results, cash in the bank and you're running around as fast as possible from one task to the next.
Your productivity is probably next to nil, your stress levels through the roof and depending on how long you've been at it, you might be getting close to throwing the towel in and going back to work for "the man".
Ok, first thing you HAVE to realise. Internet Marketing consists of many different skills. These skills take time to learn and practice to get good at.
And the more you apply yourself to EACH different skill within the Internet Marketing arena, the better and the faster you will get at it.
So here's what I suggest;
- You accept the fact that there is no "push button" system.
- You also accept that there will be no overnight cash in the bank
- And the final thing, you must agree that following a proven system is the way to crack this thing wide open and start to see results.
Hard Work, don't let anyone else tell you any different. The Internet Marketers lifestyle isn't all the mansions and Porsche's and non-stop holidays that the "Guru's" try to make you think it is. At least not in the beginning.
So focus on ONE thing at a time and get good at it, only then move onto the next thing.
Remember to apply your existing strengths to the area of your business first, follow a proper strategy and don't get distracted by "shiny thing syndrome" where you chase every new product or guide that promises you fast money, when ultimately you're going to end up back at square one.
