A news which has been waiting to be confirmed for a very long time finally seems to have gotten an official confirmation. That’s right we’re talking about Mass Effect 3 having a multiplayer mode, and this time it has been officially confirmed by a Australian PC magazine known as PC PowerPlay which is carrying a cover story about the game’s new feature in its upcoming issues, which releases on Ocotber 19.
The magazine’s website has put up a post regarding this news which confirms that the game’s indeed going to feature a multiplayer component.
“That’s right - Mass Effect 3 is getting multiplayer! We travel to BioWare’s office in Edmonton for hands-on time with the series’ first foray into online gameplay, and chat with Mass Effect Series Producer and Mass Effect 3 Project Director Casey Hudson about the decision to go multiplayer in the epic battle for the galaxy.”
The magazine’s cover as shown in the website also features a huge picture of Shepherd and his team, along with text which mentions a multiplayer mode for the game. You can watch the picture above.
This isn’t the first time a multiplayer mode has been bought into the picture, Xbox World were teasing the same last month.
That’s that, here’s your confirmation that Mass Effect 3 is going to feature a multiplayer component, whether it’ll be co-op or a full blown mp mode, is yet to be seen.
